MISSION STATEMENT:

Lincoln Chamber Productions (LCP) wills to promote the best of both
sacred and secular chamber music, with a decided emphasis on the music of the Catholic heritage, both Eastern and Western. By doing this we hope to advance the attitude that excellent secular music helps to form a culture, and excellent sacred music helps the culture to worship. We also wish to foster Church unity by displaying the best that both Eastern and Western traditions have to offer. LCP desires to present music performance in ways which will provoke new insights about worship, art, entertainment, culture, and performance itself. Listening to excellent live music ultimately forms the soul, whether it be sacred or secular.

We want to give our audiences a behind-the-scenes look at the process
of music making. To that end, we will occasionally offer "rehearsal-concerts"
where audience members observe, interact with, and even musically participate in a rehearsal situation. With this approach we hope to unveil where the essence of music resides: in its relationships. We also commit ourselves to the encouragement of a "citizen musicianship," engendering in people of all ages the mind-set that everyone can make music at some level.

LCP primarily wishes to serve the city of Chicago, but not to exclude the
greater Chicagoland area.
